Ms. Morrison will present four amazing sessions:

Molly Morrison is an active pianist and Master Teacher in the Missoula area, and holds piano performance and collaborative piano degrees from University of Montana and Arizona State University. Ms. Morrison has been on faculty at the University of Montana where she instructed Applied Piano, Piano Pedagogy, and Group Piano Classes and acted as Staff Accompanist. Currently, she has a thriving independent studio in Missoula where she teaches private students of all ages and has had special recognition for her creativity and success with adult students. She has always had a true fascination and expertise in the area of pedagogy and is a sought after clinician and adjudicator throughout the Northwest.

Her love for chamber music keeps her active in a variety of performance arenas which has included pianist for the Montana Suzuki Summer String Institute, Regional Metropolitan Opera Auditions, St. Timothy’s Summer concert series as well as Montana All State Choirs and the Montana Association of Symphony Orchestra’s Concerto competitions.

Molly is a wonderful promoter and participant of the Music Teachers National Association where she has held the office of Northwest Chair of the National Certification Committee, State President, Independent Music Teachers Chair, and many local offices. In addition to her musical passions, Molly has built by hand a log cabin and worked for the Forest Service for 18 seasons, with seven as a fire lookout. Last summer she fulfilled a lifelong dream to visit the Bob Marshall Wilderness area on horseback!
